9A - Leonardo, IW0QO will be active as 9A/IW0QO from the island of
Losinj (EU-136) on 1-18 August. He will operate SSB, RTTY and
BPSK31 during his mornings and evenings. [TNX IW0QO]
7P - Arnold, WB6OJB will be active as 7P8JK from Lesotho from 30 July
to 6 August. He will operate SSB and some QRS CW on 10, 15, 17, 20
and 40 metres. QSL via home call. [TNX The Daily DX]
9M6 - 9M6XRO, 9M6DXX, 9W6AMC, 9W6LEE and G3USR plan to activate Pulau
Sebatik (OC-295) on 24-27 September. They will operate CW as
9M6XRO/p and SSB as 9M6DXX/p. Two stations will be used with
amplifiers to a HexBeam and verticals located directly above the
sea water, and it is hoped to have both stations on the air during
all the major openings to Europe and North America. The operation
will be on 80-10 metres, with the emphasis on 40-15 metres. This
IOTA group was activated for the first and only time in July 2006.

Island (AF-086), Cape Verde between 5 and 26 August, including a
SOAB entry in the WAE DX CW Contest (14-15 August). QSL via CT1ESV

DL - Sebastian, DL1AXX will be active as DL1AXX/p from the islands of
Grot Deil (not IOTA, O-34 for the German Islands Award),
Kastenwerder (not IOTA, O-37) and Weidenschwanz (not IOTA, O-38)
on 3-9 August. He will operate CW on 40 and 20 metres during his

002) on 31 July and 1 August. They will operate SSB, RTTY and BPSK

I - Special station IY6GM will be active again from the lighthouse on
Monte Cappuccini (WAIL MA-003, ARLHS ITA-104) on 1-8 August. The
activity will celebrate the 106th anniversary of the experiments

OX - Michael, DB5MH will be active as OX/DB5MH from Disko Island
(NA-134) between 29 July and 8 August. He runs 5 watts into a
groundplane and plans to be QRV every day on 14310 kHz around
00.00 UTC. The DX Newsletter reports that "since he has only solar
cells available, he will listen more than transmit". QSL via

OZ - Michael, DG5LAC will be active as OZ/DG5LAC from Mon Island
(EU-029) on 8-13 August. He will operate holiday style on 80-10

PJ7 - The website for the 10-20 October DXpedition to Sint Maarten,
lead by W8GEX and K9CT [425DXN 1002], can be found at
www.stmaarten2010.com. A multi-national team of twelve experienced
operators (DJ9ZB, I8NHJ, K4SV, K6KK, K6MM, K6TD, K9CT, K9ZO, N2WB,
NF4A, W6OSP and W8GEX). The group plans to have four stations on
the air 24/7, and will have two additional stations that can be
activated if needed. They will work all bands CW, SSB and RTTY.

S7 - Jose, EA4DB will be active as S79DB from the Seychelles on 3-14
August. He plans to operate SSB, CW, RTTY and PSK on 40-10 metres.

UA - Nikolai RK3RB, Arcady RZ0SB and Igor UA3EDQ will operate as either
R3RRC/0 and homecall/0 from a number of islands located in Lake
Baikal between 7 and 17 August. [TNX DX World]
UA - Alex, UA3DLD will be active as RI0FKD from Kunashir Island, Kuril
Islands (AS-025) between 8 August and 3 Septemeber. He may be
active from other islands within the Kuril group during this

V3 - Colin, KU5B will be active as V31UB from Placencia, Belize from 31
July to 7 August. He plans to operate SSB, CW and digital modes on

W - The Kennehoochee Amateur Radio Club will be active as K4L from the
two lighthouses on Sapelo Island (NA-058) on 5-8 August. The plan
is for a large group of operators to be active 24 hours a day on
the HF bands and 6 metres CW, SSB and digital modes. QSL direct to

W - K0GLT, K6LSN, KH2TJ, N6DXP, N7KGA, W3FF and others will be active
as N6L from Lassen Volcanic National Park on 7-14 August. There
will be several portable and base camp stations on the air on 40-6

YJ - Chris VK3QB, Allan VK2CA, Luke VK2HJ and Brenton VK3CBV will be
active as YJ0VK from Efate (OC-035), Vanuatu from 27 August until
2 September. They will have two HF stations limited to 100 watts,
with verticals and dipoles. Plans are to operate on 160-10 metres,
with a focus on 30, 17 and 12 metres. QSL via VK2CA, direct or

YL - Special event callsign YL15LRG will be in use on 1-31 August to
celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Liepaja Radio Amateurs'

PACIFIC TRIP ---> Bodo, DL3OCH will be active as KH2/KT3Q from Guam (OC-026)
on 1-7 August and as KH0/KT3Q from the Northern Marianas (OC-086) on 7-14
August. Activity will be on 80-6 metres, mainly CW with possibly some RTTY
